Estradiol is one of three oestrogen hormones naturally produced in the body. In midlife women naturally have lower levels of estradiol as the ovaries no longer produce it. This decrease in estradiol increases bone loss. Because there are oestrogen receptors all over the body, including the joints, declining hormone levels can add to pain caused by inflammation, general wear and tear, and just plain ageing.
OTHER VARIATIONS INCLUDE:
- Tingling (Paresthesia) is caused by oestrogen fluctuation levels which has a great effect over the central nervous system. So when it is thrown off balance, it produces tingling sensation symptoms.
- Cold hands and feet, oestrogen fluctuations can also affect healthy circulation throughout the body, causing body temperatures to drop, and resulting in cold extremities.
